calendar alerts

Question

calendar alerts

When I enter a calendar event on the iPhone app, it automatically enters two alerts, which I then have to delete. How do I NOT enter any alerts for these events?

Thanks for posting to Apple Support Communities. From your description, I understand that you don't want any alerts when creating Calendar events on your iPhone. I'm happy to help out with that.

Go to Settings > Calendar > Default Alert Times. Make sure everything here is set to None.

Yes, you understood my concern correctly. I'm embarrassed to admit that, after following your recommendations, I realized that the alerts would only show up on my google calendar...so I had to change the settings in google...and that resolved the problem! Thanks again!
