my iphone7 plus is stuck on the apple start screen

Can anyone help me with this problem? I have tried to factory reset by holding the power button and volume down button for 10 seconds and it turns off and brings me back to the apple screen. I have also tried signing into itunes and repeating previous steps. My computers does not recognize the device. I have a iMac as well.

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 13

Did you follow the steps mentioned in this article, to connect the phone in recovery mode?

You may need more than one try, until iTunes will recognize your phone and the "Connect to iTunes screen" will be shown on the display. Als make sure to use the original USB cable, you may also have to try another USB port on your Mac, which should have at least iTunes 12.8.2.3 installed.

Straight from the horse's mouth (don't ask for details), DFU Mode:

While connected to a mac, Press and release the Volume Up, then Press and release the Volume down and press and hold the side button... continue holding the side button until screen turns black. While still holding the side button press the Volume Down button for five seconds, then release the side button... continue holding the Volume Down button and you should hopefully see a response from iTunes.

Of course, this is just to see if you can get a response from the phone.

Sometimes just getting into DFU and getting back out lets the device boot normally.
