Migration assistant erased my hard drive
Hi. I tried to move my old files from old iMac with macOS 10.14: Mojave- 2018 to Mac book pro with Catalina using migration assistant. The process took all night and in the morning I found my MacBook Pro with a black screen and fan working. I tried to wake I'm up and nothing happened. I restarted my MacBook Pro and it got started a reboot loop. Then I disconnected my old iMac and tried to repeat migration but all files from iMac hard drive were gone. I used disk drill to recover my files and I found all my files renamed without a folder structure. I also found the partition folder with HFS folder and several dmg files in full size of my hard drive (1TB). Is there any way to get (recover) my old files with an old folder structure on my new MacBook Pro?
