2019 MacBook Air Charging indicator???

How do I know when my 2019 MacBook air is charging or fully charged while it is plugged in and closed??? My old MacBook had charging light on the cable where it was connected.

There isn't any visible indicator when it is closed. The indicator on the charging cable connector was removed in 2016 (or possibly earlier). It won't harm anything to leave it plugged in to the charger after it has reached a full charge.
