Family iCloud calendar how to show who event is for?

We are looking to use the Family calendar, want to be able to show multiple events and see which family member each event applies to. Colour code would be good.

Good afternoon Nellyjelly,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

I understand you want to know which events in the family calendar apply to which members. I would suggest starting the event name with the name or initial of the person (Ex. Mom - Dentist appt, or K - Music Lesson). Otherwise, use this calendar only for events that affect everyone in the family, or create multiple shared calendars.

"When you set up Family Sharing, a shared calendar called Family is automatically created in the Calendar app on all family members’ devices. You can schedule an event on this calendar to share it with family members.

  1. Open the Calendar app , then add an event.
  2. While entering the event details, tap Calendar, then tap Family to add the event to the family calendar.

Members can unsubscribe from the family calendar, and the family organizer can delete it."

Take care.
