i'm trying to update my friends iphone to to ios 12 but i get this message!
im using macbook pro and there are no available updates when i check!

Then it looks like you need to update the OS version since it is asking for 10.11.4 or newer.
I don’t have an Apple computer so I am not sure what to suggest. The error message says that you need OS 10.11.4 or later in order to continue. So somehow you need to update your OS version. I would contact an Apple Store for help if needed.
