Does Apple call users when iCloud is hacked?
I’ve received five calls on my iPhone (800 number) and on my home phone (caller ID identified as Apple) advising that my iCloud account has been hacked. On the two instances where I talked to them, they wanted to walk me through my security settings. But they both had strong Indian accents, and my experience is that Apple support uses US employees. this raised my suspicions, but since I received so many, I thought that Apple was being pro-active. I changed my password, but should I be worried?
