Using custom email address in Apple Mail

I have my own domain and email address my name (like "john@smith.com"). Is there anyway to use this address in Apple Mail and have it send through through the iCloud imap servers?

iCloud mail uses Apple's default mail servers. You cannot use your domain in iCloud mail. However, Mail can be configured to use your domain if you have it hosted somewhere where you will get your own server addresses to use. Or you can locate the software that will let you use your own computer as a mail server.
