I have reached the max of icloud storage i can have for free. I dont wish to purachase more stororage. I have a lot of videos ranging from1-2 minte long and i want to take them from my Iphone X to my windows laptop. I have downloaded Icloud on my laptop and still cant download the photoes......
I need the videos as they are very important but i cant get them off my phone.

Thanks for the question. I understand you want to download some videos from iCloud to your PC.
Setting up iCloud for Windows was a good start. You should be able to download videos using the steps below, from the link titled Set up and use iCloud Photos on your Windows PC:
"Download your photos and videos from iCloud Photos
New photos and videos you add to iCloud Photos will automatically download to your PC. You can also download your collection by year when you follow these steps:
Your photos and videos download to the location you set in iCloud Photos Options."
This link has another suggestion that might be useful: Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud
"If you want to download a few photos or videos, use iCloud.com to download the most recent version of photos and videos. Just go to iCloud.com and open the Photos app. Then select the photos and videos you want to download and click Download
