Settings to remove date and time stamp from camera app?

Can someone walk me through how to keep the date and time being imprinted one my photos taken with the camera app on an iPhone 11? I must have inadvertently turned this setting in, but I don’t see anything in Settings in the Camera app to control this.

Yes, I'm guessing that is the issue. Check the app and see if there is a setting that will allow you to turn that off.

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities Madgardenr22,

I see that you have a question about removing the date & time on Photos. I'd be happy to provide you with some information on this.

Currently there isn't a way to turn this feature off. The article below shows all the ways that you can organize your photos, but turning this feature off is not an option.

Hi Chris, thanks for your response. I'm not talking about the file (EXIF) data that's embedded in the photos, just the "stamp" of the time and date that appears on the photos themselves - I'm new to the iPhone 11 but on at least some of my photos there is a "line" of text with the time and date info superimposed on the images. That's what I'm trying to get rid of. Any suggestions appreciated.
