Would a Macbook Air run cooler than a Macbook Pro?
I purchased a 13-inch Macbook Pro last week (upgraded version with 2.4 processor, 16 RAM) and it's running extremely hot to the touch. Seems to be a fairly common problem with the Pro (wish I knew that BEFORE I purchased it). There are some different things that can supposedly help with this, but I've read in the Macbook Pro board that even if you do these things, the computer will often run hot (and by hot I mean very hot underneath and even the keyboard/palm rests get uncomfortable). So my question here is do people have same issues with the Macbook Air (as in the new version). My old Macbook Air (2013 version) never has had this problem. Basically, I'm thinking of returning computer while it's still within return window and swapping it for an Air (still want 16 RAM and 256 storage, though). But maybe I'll run into same issues? Also, will the Air be noticeably slower for what I do (mainly web surfing and word processing -- no gaming).
