Urgent help plz - Spam appointements in calender

Hi,

Yesterday in my calendar many appointments has been auto scheduled. I tried to delete it but unable to. I deleted and reinstalled calendar app but no luck. Today morning again many appointments has been auto scheduled. And just when i clicked the attached pic same appointments auto scheduled for tomorrow as well. Kindly help how to get rid of it. I am worried because even after deleting app nothing happened. Thanks happened.

That is a Rogue Calendar account. Go to Settings-->>Passwords & Accounts and under Accounts see if an unknown calendar account is listed. If it is then tap on it and then Delete account.

The term Rogue means bad behavior. So in this instance it would be a calendar behaving badly. It is created by user error. For example, the user may be on a website and then a prompt pops up on the screen and tricks the user to tap on OK or YES and the calendar account gets installed. Once installed then it is used for advertising every hour or so while the user thinks that it is coming from the iPhone and probably ends up buying advertised services etc.

In the end, that calendar account is not harmful. It is ANNOYING more than anything else. You have removed that calendar account and you will therefore be fine.
