Google Pay not working on iPhone 6s

Google pay has suddenly stopped working on my iPhone 6s. Seems there’s some security issue. It is very difficult to continue without google pay. It’s been over a week since this issue has occurred. Can someone tell me what the solution to this is? Is it a permanent thing, because reinstalling the app didn’t help, neither did upgrading the iOS version did. Do we need to go for a new iPhone, and if that’s the case, how long will google pay work on it. Will it stop working all of a sudden on a different iPhone as well. Please help.

It's not up to Apple, this was apparently some decision made by NPCI.

So, the error seems to be temporary and Google Twitter account confirms that they are looking at the error, which confirms the same and we can expect some fix very soon. The error happens irrespective of Banks so its not your iPhone that has become outdated all of a sudden.

I don’t know what the issue is, neither am I claiming anything. My question was, what was the reason behind this, and what should I do to fix it, because it has been quite some time that google pay has stopped working on my iPhone 6s.



I dont don’t know why it doesn’t work on my iPhone but does in yours, but I read many people asking the same question.


I am adding the the screenshot of what the issue is, that I get, when I try registering my UPI ID.
