In setting up my new iPod Touch, I have connected to my laptop with iTunes. Updates were downloaded and installed on my iPod. I added music from iTunes on my laptop to my iPod Music. However, when disconnected, my music is not accessible on the iPod. It still tells me to Connect to Mac or to a PC with iTunes. What am I missing?

WHen you added the music, did you sync?
If that music is through the cloud, did you try to download it onto the ipod?

Thanks! I just synced the music from my iTunes on the laptop!
However, the only screen visible on the iPod indicates Connected to Computer...
