How to Update MacBook Pro Mid 2010?

I have an old MacBook Pro from Mid 2010. Currently running OSX 10.9.5. How can I update it to a more current operating system so that it matches my 2015 MacBook Pro running Catalina 10.15.2? Or is this not possible?

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and download High Sierra. That Mac model can't be upgraded past it.
