My browser has been hijacked by Any Search/Quick Search. I can't download the latest security updates or OS High Sierra. The extension for Any Search is not showing in my "extensions" nor is there any icon for either Any Search or Quick Search.

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?

Workable but harder for me to work with...the Note tool on the bottom of this editor's toolbar, as shown in the image, to copy and paste the output from EtreCheck.
There is also free Malwarebytes which may take care of it...
