Hi there,
I updated my macbookpro (15-inch, 2019) to catalina 10.15.3 last night and now only one of my two identical acer K242HL display is working. The second one remains black. Both displays are connected via landing zone docking station (hdmi ports) and worked properly before the update to 10.15.3 (catalina 10.15.2).
Any ideas/solutions?

If that doesn't help, go ahead and reset your SMC. Here is How to reset the SMC of your Mac.
If these steps do not work, go ahead and Contact Apple Support.

I am now a step further. So it is the one usb type C port on the left hand site of the macbook pro that is not working any more after the update. It may be coincidence that the port is in the same moment as i did the update no more working. More likely the update caused this defective port somehow.
Any suggestions how to get this port working again?
