Apple ID on Mac

Hi All,

I just bought a new Macbook Air but can not set up my apple id. It keeps on saying that the apple id or the password is incorrect. It works in all my other devices ipads, old mac, iphone but seems impossible to get it work on the new one. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

But i hope it’s not the wrong password, because I tried to sign out of the Apple ID on my phone and signed back in, and it worked. I then used the same password that i signed in with my Phone into the MacBook. It didn’t work.

MacBook not recognising Apple ID I have an iPhone, iPad Pro, iPad mini and MacBook. Apple ID and password work on all devices fine but not the MacBook. I know it isn’t a problem with username and password but my MacBook won’t accept it so I can’t even log in. very frustrating

correct username and password not accepted Apple ID macbook I'm using the correct username and password but it won't let me sign in to my Macbook Air M2. I had the same problem with my ipadair2. I changed my password, I changed my username. Both devices appear on my manage my apple ID page. On the ipad, I was able to workaround by signing in to the app store instead. On my Mac it works for the app store too but doesn't allow me to set up icloud and keeps saying my username and password is incorrect - can anyone help?

You are entitled to 90 days of telephone support from Apple. Try contacting them.
