Deleted partitions... can t load Disk Utility :(

I have 2018 macbookpro 15 inch base model on macOS Mojave. I had windows 10 intalled through bootcamp. Today I decided to delete it and reinstall mac os.

  1. Bootcamp didn t let me uninstall windows partition.
  2. I logged into wind. 10 and then logged back in mac os. <---
  3. Opened disk utility and deleted windows partition by pressing "-".
  4. Restarted mac and booted in disk utility mode by holding Command+R.
  5. Erased mac os partition and started to reinstall mac os. Reinstall ended up on error.
  6. Deleted mac os partition again and after restart it loaded broken windows 10 start up menu.

After turning pc off Command+R doesn t load disk utility but offers to connect to wify and spinning globe starts. No loading bar no nothing just spinning globe for about 1.5h.

If I do force turn off broken windows 10 menu loads up. If I hold ''option'' after restart I can shoose only windows partition. If I hold Command+R can t load disk utility but only connect to wifi and start spinning globe - no loading bar for few h.

Is there anything I can do to install fresh mac os? How long spinning globe is too long without loading bar? Thanks a lot for any help...

I tried command r and command option r on start up... both led to wifi login screen and after connection just a spinning globe for like 5h.

I downloaded mojave os from appstore on my imac and made install usb through terminal.

Put the usb in macbook held the option key and there was mojave install option. When I chose it again wifi login screen poped up and after connecting the spinning globe came up... but this time with the note: Starting internet recovery. This may take a while.

Is there any idea why install didn t start from usb but internet recovery poped up? I have 8 gb usb stick. The install is like 6.4gb. Could that be the problem? Does the install process needs space on usb too?

Unfortunately can t connect macbook to internet through wire.

As I said all I can do is load internet recovery mode which is not progressing for hours using command R. Or access external usb by pressing option. Tried loading mojave installer from usb but it goes straight to internet recovery mode after choosing mojave installer drive from usb.

I can t access any mac os or disk utility menu. Is there any way to get in terminal without os?

Both combinations: command +R / command + option + R lead to wifi login screen and when connected just a globe starts spinning for hours with no description under. Changed my router dns to google s 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 but same result. Could it be that Internet Recovery might not work in my country? Im from Latvia.

Also... I have working imac with mojave os. Could I phisically remove ssd from macbook and connect it to imac through ssd to usb adapter and format it with imac s disk utility tool and then try to do usb install to that ssd when put back in macbook? Could that help?

The Recovery image is about 2-4 GB, and may take a while to download. Ethernet would be faster than wifi.

Do not remove the SSD from the Mac. If you have a second Mac, you can Use target disk mode to move files to another computer - Apple Support and access the 'bad' Mac's internal HDD. If the 'T' key does not work, run a SMC and NVRAM Reset on the 'bad' Mac. You will also need the appropriate cables, as mentioned in the link.
