I bought my child(12) an iphone. I have an apple ID, and want to set up family sharing and get her an ID for a child. BUt i have no existing ipad or mac. how to i set this up without one? all the info says to do it through parents ipod/iphone or mac.

• Set up the iPhone with your Apple ID, you can skip setting up any features you're comfortable skipping since you'll be resetting the device shortly after set-up: Set up your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
• Next, Set up Family Sharing
• Then create an Apple ID for your child and be sure to look at the section titled "Manage Family Sharing settings" before you take steps to reset the device: Family Sharing and Apple ID for your child
• Once you've confirmed that the Apple ID is set up and your Family Sharing settings are to your preference, erase the device: How to erase your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
• Follow the prompts to set up the iPhone again with the child's Apple ID.

Please keep in mind that without a device logged in to your Apple ID some features of Family Sharing, such as Screen Time and Ask to Buy, may be unavailable or limited: Family Sharing
