Phantom clip in FCPX

FCPX Editing question: (please only respond if you have sane advice)

I seem to have a phantom track on my timeline. The clips on the timeline end at 2.30min, but the whole video comes out over 6hrs! I can't find any other clip, what the heck is going on?

Mac Pro, macOS 10.12

Not sure exactly what part you refer to as the Browser, but it shows as over 6hrs long above the timeline where the name of the project is.

I don't know how to set in and out points in a project to export just that part if that's what you mean. I've exported the whole project, re-imported it and cut off the phantom tail. This was a first cut so not a great solution...
