I'm trying to burn *purchased* music from iTunes store onto a CD using the Apple Music. I was under the impression that if I bought the album, then copied the songs to a play list, I would be able to burn to CD because I made a purchase as opposed to just downloading Music. I'm able to burn some songs, but not a new album I bought today - Using Catalina.

Thank you, yes this works. You have to do both (1) purchase and (2) download. There are a lot of in correct support posts elsewhere saying you cannot burn CDs w/ Catalina. Cheers!

Glad it helped. Burning in Music on Catalina works just like it did in iTunes. There are just a lot fewer people who even have a CD drive. ;-)
