Turn off double authentication

I accidentally turned on the double authentication and can not turn it off.

problem is I can’t get my apple tv to work without entering the new code.

can i disable two stage authentication since enabling two stage authentication I can't sign into my apple TV. I end up in a horrible circle punching in numbers and it just keeps saying my password is wrong. Only on the TV, can log in to computers with out issue.

I have an old Apple TV device. I am trying to use it on my computer, but it does not allow for two-step authentication and thus I cannot sign in. Since I cannot turn off two-step authentication, will this device just not work for me anymore? How in the world do I circumnavigate this? I am so angry I could scream.

Once you enable 2FA you cannot disable it. See Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support.
