Changing country region

Good day please help me on how to fix this stuff.

my Apple location/region is in Nigeria . I got an iTunes card and want to redeem it to my App Store account so from the instructions there I had to cancel all current subscriptions and change my country region to US because The ITunes card was bought there. But my challenge now is that it’s not working yet and I can’t still redeem the card. The region keep changing to Nigeria. I really need to see that my App Store is working and I can pay for subscriptions through it.

Please help me, I await for your good response .

If I'm understanding you right, you're unable to change your iTunes Store country from Nigeria to United States so you can redeem an iTunes & App Store Gift Card. I'm happy to help you out with this.


There are several reasons you might not be able to change your country. I recommend taking a look at the "What to do before you change your country or region" section here: Change your Apple ID country or region. It's important to keep in mind that you will need to enter a valid payment method for the new country. Since you're changing it to United States, your payment method and billing address must be for that specific country. If you continue to experience issues changing your country, reach out to Apple Support using the link located in the "Contact Apple Support" section of that support article.
