has anyone found an app for an email server that will only open for faceid?
i deem twofactor to be unsecure.
i deem, obviously, anything with a website frontend unsecure.
i need it to have only one point of failure, and that- to be that my face has been irrevocably damaged. naww mean?

still waiting on any expertise in this matter. the email app cant have a recover password option, website frontend, or method of entry that isnt the closed system inside the iphone of touch or face id.

I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for. When you configure an email client, that is the program that you use to access your email, that information remains as part of the setup for the email client. There is no lock on the email client app, only a lock on the iPhone, and since you have an iPhone X, that phone can be opened with Face ID. However you also need a passcode for the iPhone, for when you have powered off the iPhone, or it as not been used for a period of time. You will not be able to use Face ID until after you have unlocked it with a passcode.

I read the response that Chris posted. It was a perfect response to your very open ended and multi-directional question. Do you want an email client that has Face ID security to open in addition to the security measures that are already built into your iPhone? If YES the there several mail apps in the App Store that will suffice your request (If I understood your request correctly that is). For example one such app is OUTLOOK. Look into it.
