No Multicam Clip Option?

I have been scouring these forums for a solution but no matter what I do the New Multicam Clip option is greyed out in all projects.

I do not have any keyframe groups, and I definitely have all of the clips selected at once.

Furthermore it does not even show in my right click menu at all.

Help would be much appreciated. Rather desperate.

You assemble the multicam clip in the browser not in the project. Select the clips in the browser. Make the multicam clip, by right-clicking in one of the selected clips. Then edit the multicam clip into the project.
