Facebook Messenger on iPad pro

hi, i have an iPad pro 12.9. When i use the facebook messenger app in landscape mode i can't see what i am typing. As soon as i start to type a message a pop-up line comes up and covers the text box. How can i stop this ?

Disable swipe right for Messenger on iPad ? Is it possible to disable 'swipe right' that shows the sidebar on the messenger app ? I'd much rather just display the sidebar using the 'three lines' in the top left corner ... As a right handed old f... I naturally swipe towards the right when swiping up and down ... which displays the sidebar when I just want to scroll through messages ... Especially annoying when writing a longer message and scrolling up and down to spell-/contentcheck what I've written ! :) ?

Hello,

Try updating to iPadOS 13.3.1 to see if it resolves your problem.

Settings > General > Software Update
