Google search turns up yahoo results

I believe I have a malware infection, or something close. When I do a search (on google or just opening safari) the results come back in a "safe finder" window, with the yahoo! logo. My system is also running slower. There are no extensions listed for me to remove, and I have cleared the stored info from the privacy. Please help me get this remedied!! :)
