the iphone could not be updated!!
ive been trying to update my phone for two days now and had no success. the update process starts fine but it fails halfway and i get this message?

If you can update your device but it starts up in recovery mode, follow the steps above again. On step 4, choose Restore instead of Update. After the restore completes, you need to set up your device from a backup.

What version of iTunes is on the computer? As noted in your previous post, you need at least iTunes 12.8.
Is this the same iPhone 6 where you were trying to install iOS 9?
Is this the same phone that noted you need an updated version of iTunes? If so, did you update iTunes?
that did not work
not its not the same phone. this is running ios8 and i want to update it to ios12. i did update itunes but cant update my mac to catalina because it does not support it.
