Merging two Apple ID’s

Hi, I have had various Apple products over the years and seem to have set up two different Apple ID’s. My last couple of phones and laptop have been using an ID I set up many moons ago when I first had an iPod. Its linked to an email address I really don’t use anymore. In the middle I used a different ID for my first iPhone and computer and would love to access the information from then. Can it be done? I don’t remember the ID but know which email address I would have used. Also can I change the email linked with my current ID? Many thanks!!

Change Apple ID: I would try going here https://appleid.apple.com/#!&page=signin and changing my Apple ID. But, first, read:

To "merge," you would have to use the same Apple ID on both.

You cannot merge purchases as each purchased item if permanently tied to the AppleID use when signing in to make that purchase.

To get data like photos or iCloud files and such from the old AppleID, you’ll have to recover it so you can copy that data somewhere (laptop, desktop) and put it in your other AppleID’s iCloud file space.

You can try setting up Family Sharing between the IDs if you want to be able to share purchases made with the IDs.
