Second Apple ID

How do I create a second Apple ID without losing the first?

I am told to login to iCloud. If I then change my apple address (ie use a different email address) does iCloud then add the new address and the new info I put in --- or does it substitute the new address for the old one?

I am trying to create a new Apple ID for my husband so I can hand over my old iphone to my husband who has never had a phone and thus no

Apple ID. He does have an iemail account that is different from mine. I don't want to find out that I have suddenly changed my Apple ID.

Before giving the phone to your husband, do the steps in the article below to make it 'his' phone.

If you want to create a new Apple ID for your husband, just do it when setting up your old iPhone for him. Follow the steps to create a new account

Don't create it on your own iPhone, apple ids Are personal
