What is the small lens above the speaker if my iphone 6s plus?

There appear to be two lenses on the user side of my iphone plus. The Facetime one and a smaller one above the speaker. It does not appear on Apple’s official diagram. What is it?

Orange blinking microphone icon after FaceTime call!!! So I had a FaceTime call on my work phone and after I ended the call a few minutes later I picked up the phone to put on the charger and I noticed I had an orange microphone icon in the left-hand upper corner blinking I had to turn my phone off to get it to stop blinking But I tapped the icon and it wouldn’t do anything. What is that that made me feel like I was being spied on or some thing and this is my work phone so it’s a business phone for a company a little confused need an answer.

Desk View does not show for person receiving call First time trying Desk View. I initiated a FaceTime call from my MacBook Pro (MacOS 13.1 Ventura). I was calling my husband across the room. He answered on his MacBook Pro (Mac OS 11.7). I clicked the Desk View button, which connected the camera of my iPhone 11 Pro (iOS 16.1.1). I was able to adjust the view and click Start Desk View. I could see both videos on my end: my face and the desk. So far so good. But my husband could only see the video of my face. He did not see my desk view at all. Does the receiver of a FaceTime call on a Mac have to do something special to see desk view? Or is there a minimum system requirement for the receiver of the call? Any other ideas?

That would be the proximity sensor.
