Inkjet Recommendation
I'm looking for a general inkjet printer recommendation (actually a multi-function inkjet) manufacturer that works well with Apple operating systems, i.e., high Sierra or better - direct connect (USB), wireless or ethernet.
Add to your selection criteria that the network capable, MFP inkjet is on Apple's AirPrint list of printers (so you don't need vendor drivers), or that the device already has confirmed, vendor-supplied, 64-bit driver and software support. I would not install any software that comes with the device as it may be months old inventory that may not be 64-bit software. You won't need 64-bit drivers for Mojave, but you will for Catalina.
Price what it will cost to replace the inkjet inks when they deplete — before you purchase. May cost more than the device, if you don't do this homework. Some vendors ship just enough starter ink to sell the device, and you may run out in less than a month depending on your usage.
