My phone will not ring in the car, the audio goes off and I can see a call coming through, I can talk and hear the caller but why does the phone not ring. This has happened in 2 different cars so I know its not a problem with the car

Can you check your Do Not Disturb settings? Go to Settings>Do Not Disturb, and look for the "Do Not disturb while driving" setting.

Usually it's on Automatically, so I was going to suggest that you could set it to manual.
Is "Activate with CarPlay" on?
It was on manual, but have now changed it to automatic, will try tomorrow to see if it works
Do not disturb whilst driving was on manual, and idea which setting it should be on?
