I am unable to boot Imac after doing an update, I get the above error code, any help and assistance would be greatly appreciated.

also have clean my mac and sophos antivirus installed,
I'd recommend removing both per their instructions.
Please try restarting in Safe Mode per Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support then attempt to restart normally.
Also, do you have any antivirus, cleaning or any other third party "maintenance" apps installed.
Finally, what version of Mac OS was installed and what version are you attempting to update to?

I already had Mac OS Catalina installed, also have clean my mac and sophos antivirus installed, I was doing updating some other application.
