Can the memory of a 27-inch iMac 3.0GHz 6-core Intel Core i5 with Retina 5K display be user updated

Apple's RAM installation instructions here:

Install memory in an iMac - Apple Support

There are also nice video instructions on the OWC site that D. I. Johnson has wisely suggested. They are my preferred RAM vendor for our Macs.
