Wifi Toggle Button permanently disabled in my iPhone XR

Hi Folks,

I am writing this post in a lot of despair. Got an iPhone XR 256GB in Oct 2019. First 2 months went smooth, however now the phone have a problem.

Wifi toggle button has become disabled and now I am always on cellular data mode.

I had taken this iPhone to the Apple Authorized service center in Bangalore, India. The phone was diagnosed by not just the service center engineers but people from Apple Replacement center Bengaluru. To my surprise, all they mentioned during the product delivery was - a software reset (read reset or restore) "might" have solved the problem. Honestly, I was not happy with that sort of response that is not concrete.

After 2 weeks, the problem is back and I did do soft-reset, erase phone, and what not. Nothing is happening. Guess, either there is a specific hardware problem with the iPhone or simply put I got a LEMON.

My 1 year warranty is running in Oct 2020. Based on a popular search engine results, I am not the only one having wifi issues in a iPhone XR.

My gut feel says - I need a product replacement.
