where do the downloads from whatsapp go on ipad?

I need to download files sent over whatsapp. When I long press the attachment, I get a notice that the file is downloaded, but I can’t find it on the ipad. It’s not in the downloads, nor in the documents. The share button does not have an option for google drive which I use.

How do I really download and view documents from whatsapp?
