I currently have an iPhone XS Max and an iPhone 8 Plus. We have a Verizon plan where we pay them monthly for our phones. I keep hearing about how I can select a phone from Apple and pay for with y'all, while keeping Verizon as my carrier.
How do I go about doing this?
Is it true that on that plan, every year you get a the newest phone?

Yes, you can do that. You can switch to the Apple plan when you get new phones. Phones that are currently on Verizon’s payment plan must stay on it until they are paid off. It is called the Upgrade Plan, and if you choose it you get a new phone every year. The details are in this Apple article—>iPhone Upgrade Program - Apple

I have nothing to do with Facebook as I don’t want to be tracked 24/365. So I would suggest eBay.
You can also trade them in to Apple. You won’t get as much as you would selling them, but it is very convenient.
once the phones are paid off what do you recommend to do with them? Facebookmarket?
