How to change the name of my apple watch and please don't point me to General - About. That's not the name I want to change. I want to change the name that appears in BIG letters when you first open the Watch App. Thanx

Thanx for the reply but that does not work. You see I'm trying to get my wife's name to show up on her Apple Watch - not mine. I could change the name as you suggested but then all of our Apple products - 2 iphones and a iPad would should up with her name on them. I need a way to change the name on her Apple Watch only. Any thoughts? Thanx again for your response.
Yes because the watch is activation locked with your apple id and by unpairing and erasing the watch it will remove the activation lock and when she sets the watch up as new the activation lock will be reinstated but with her apple id and not yours.
This seems like a lot of work to get your wife's name on the watch and phone but this the problem you have when you share the same apple id,just be patient and follow the steps in those links and you should be good to go.
From the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name (fist big box)> Name, Phone Number and Email> tap your name and change it.

Yes that is why everything you own will display whatever you change the name too.Unfortunately your wife will have to unpair and erase her watch and set it up again as new with her new apple id.
