Contacts have disappeared from iPhone XS Max!
I have an iPhone XS Max and after the last Apple update , my 3300 contacts disappeared. I’ve tried a few things and now have 600ish. How can I get all of my contacts back?

Open the Contacts app and tap on Groups in the upper left corner. All groups should be checked.

When you go to settings>contacts>default account - what account is listed there? Did you recently delete an email account?
Do you have iCloud contacts on, maybe try restoring your phone from a previous backup before you updated your phone.
