New IPOD does not find bluetooth speaker. What am I doing wrong.

( Old IPOD does )

Can you start by telling us what you are doing?


Have you put the speaker in "find" mode so that it can be found (it almost certainly needs that)? Once you do that, look under Bluetooth on your iPod and make sure that it is either looking for OTHER DEVICES or that the device is already on the list.


If the speaker doesn't appear, try turning the bluetooth off, then on again (which will cause the iPod to look for Bluetooth devices). You may have no more than 30 seconds to find the speaker on your iPod and pair with it.
