Adding a photo to Calendar (iCal) entry?

Using iOS13 on my iPhone 11, is there any way to simply take a picture with my phone and add it to a specific entry in iCal?? I see I can add an attachment, which is a step in the right direction, but seems there is virtually no integration of services.

I know it's possible on Google Calendar but also a pain in the butt with having to first upload to google drive.

Any suggestions??

A workaround, if the Photos on your iPhone are synced with iCloud.

  1. Open the Photo on iPhone [to be attached to iCal Entry (Event)]
  2. Click on Share icon
  3. Click on Copy iCloud Link
  4. Now Open the Event in iCal
  5. Under URL simply paste the link

When ever the link is clicked it will open the Photo.
