Undo Migration Assistant

I recently performed a migration assistant from my MacBook to my iMac wiping out all files on my iMac. Is there a way to undo this action without using a backup?

No, perhaps you should explain more fully what you did, how you did it and what happened to make you thing MA wiped out files on the iMac? MA will not wipe out any fileson the destination Mac, I suspect you are looking in the wrong place.

Without a backup, no. The files are most likely lost.

There are some file recovery apps and services but

in situation like migrating a system and data, they

will have quite limited usefulness.
