how to remove advanced mac cleaner from menu bar

I somehow ended up with Advanced Mac cleaner on my MacBook Air and I somehow managed to delete the application for it but I cannot get rid of it from the menu bar. Can someone help please?

menubar has empty icon After removing malwarebytes from my iMac I am left with an 'empty' slot for its icon in the menubar. I made sure I removed everything I could find of mwbytes but it seems I left something behind. I'd like to-get rid of the empty space in the menubar but cannot think how to go about it. Is there any obvious thing I'm missing?

Download Malwarebytes and run. It should remove all vestiges of malware.
