Problem With Sending Email

Hi

Its been a few days I can't send emails from my Mac & Iphone Mail app; however I recive emails.

I use Mac OS High Sierra: version 10.13.6 and Phone Software Version is: 13.3.1

So, I did checked around it seems that smtp is not working.

I feel there is something going between Google and Apple.

The account I am using is Gmail (the google mail).

It is very annoying, I hope you guys reach me out soon.

both the macs firewall and the wifi router needs to allow traffic on the port gmail use for smtp

and of cause the port needs to be set correct along with the other smtp settings

personally I have no problems with gmail or hotmail for that matter even if that will only work as pop3 on macOS for me

yahoo and aol are less stable in terms of kicking all my mac devices off often
