Update Problems

I've tried to update my MacBook Pro but when it prompts "restart to begin update" it will just restart and not do anything. I've closed all of my applications and deleted some homework files that I didn't need in order to make space and yet nothing seems to work. Please help! Thank you in advance.

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15

9.28GB is NOT enough space.

You need to clear up some.

It is not just the size of the update download, it needs to be uncompressed.

These 9.28GB are nit even enough for regular use of your mac. The OS needs scratch space on the drive, space for caches, virtual memory and stuff. A sleepimage file on the drive takes as much space as the installed RAM.
