What's the Solution?

I see a lot of questions but no one has offered a solution. Is there one? I have an iPhone 5SE and Beats wireless earbuds. Every sound comes through perfectly except incoming calls. They can hear me, but I can't hear them. If we hang up and I call them back, then we both hear each other fine. What is that all about? It doesn't seem like a volume issue with the Beats since I hear them fine when I call back.

Hi KnudsenM,

Thank you for contacting Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it seems like there is trouble hearing calls received but not calls made. See if there is a carrier update that may help.

Update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad

Please don't hesitate to let us know if the steps resolved your issue or if you need additional assistance.

Cheers.

Three questions for you-

  1. Are the incoming calls normal when the bluetooth headphones are not connected?
  2. Have you tried connected another pair of bluetooth headphones to duplicate the results of the incoming calls?
  3. Finally, if you have not already then can you Force Restart your iPhone and see if that helps? Here is how-->>Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
