Checking for mail appears to be stuck
My iPad email appears to be stuck on “checking for mail”
iPad Pro 12.9-inch, 3rd Gen, Wi-Fi
Force quit the mail ** exiting the app, double tap the home button and flick the preview for mail off the screen. Then single tap the home button to exist the mode. Then reopen your mail and see if it works better now.
