Jaguar f Pace apple car play won't work

Hi I have a jaguar 2019 with apple play , but won't connect to car ( keeps saying try again won't display anything apart from the error message .

I down loaded the latest soft were and try branded new leads and re booted phone many times and no luck , and I the first owner of the car , + the phone is an I phone pro max new in December 2019 .

Can anyone help ?

2. I do show your vehicle is compatible with CarPlay here: Apple CarPlay - More than 500 models to choose from. - Apple Support


3. Please ensure everything is set up as described in this help article: How to use CarPlay with your iPhone - Apple Support


4. If you still need help, please check this troubleshooting article: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod doesn't connect to or work in your car - Apple Support


There is also a step in the How to use CarPlay article mentioning the need to check if the car stereo needs an update to work with the iPhone, or the iOS version, stating:


"If needed, install firmware updates. Check your car's manual for more information."
